Terms of Service

These beta terms describe expected use of MeloNode. They are informational and pending final legal review.

Beta use

MeloNode is currently beta software. Features may be incomplete, local-only, unavailable, or changed during testing.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, your sign-in credentials, and the information you provide. Local Demo Mode may store data only on your device.

User-generated content

You are responsible for the profiles, project cards, audio references, notes, messages, and other content you create or share in MeloNode.

Audio ownership

Only use audio, vocals, beats, stems, loops, samples, and files that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for sample clearance, credits, splits, publishing, and commercial release decisions.

Prohibited behavior

• No stolen audio, stems, vocals, beats, samples, or impersonation.
• No harassment, threats, hate, spam, scams, or fake paid work.
• No misleading claims about rights, credits, payment protection, or collaborator identity.
• No illegal content or activity.

Split drafts and payments

Split drafts are planning tools only. They are not legal contracts. MeloNode does not currently provide payment protection, escrow, payouts, refunds, invoices, tax handling, or arbitration.

Local-only audio limitation

Audio and files are local-only in the current beta. Cloud audio upload and Firebase Storage are not implemented.

Suspension and removal

MeloNode may restrict access, hide content, or review reports where safety and moderation processes support it. Production enforcement policies still need final review.
