Privacy Policy

This page explains the current MeloNode beta data scope. It is informational and pending final legal review.

MeloNode currently uses Firebase Auth and Firestore for signed-in account, profile, and project metadata. Audio and files remain local-only in the current build.

Data MeloNode may collect now

Account data, such as email address and Firebase user ID, when you sign up or sign in.
Profile metadata, such as display name, roles, genres, mood tags, DAW, location text, bio, and looking-for preferences.
Project metadata, such as project title, creator role, genre, BPM/key, mood tags, what you have, what you need, status, and visibility.
Support requests, copyright concerns, account deletion requests, and beta feedback if you contact us.

Audio and files

Audio files, stems, references, recordings, and imported files are local-only in this beta build. Firebase Storage is not implemented yet, and MeloNode does not upload cloud audio files in the current app scope.

Firebase and service providers

MeloNode uses Firebase Auth for Email/Password authentication and Firestore for private signed-in profile and project metadata. Firebase/Google may process that data as a service provider. Realtime Database is not used by the app.

Analytics and tracking

MeloNode does not currently describe any active third-party tracking, advertising, or cross-app tracking in this beta scope. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are not confirmed active in the current build. If that changes, this policy and App Store privacy labels must be updated.

Payments

Payments, escrow, payouts, refunds, subscriptions, invoices, and payment protection are not implemented in the current beta scope.

How data is used

To create and maintain your account.
To display and sync your profile metadata and user-created project metadata.
To support Discover, Projects, Matches, Profile, and Safe Settings features.
To respond to support, safety, copyright, and account deletion requests.

Data deletion and rights

You can request deletion or privacy help by contacting support@melonode.app. In-app deletion tooling is still beta foundation work, so backend deletion may require support handling. Some safety, abuse, legal, or support records may be retained where appropriate.

Beta limitations

Beta builds may change, contain bugs, or have incomplete backend behavior. Local Demo Mode data may be stored on the device only. Cloud sync is limited to signed-in profile and project metadata.
